Designing a home, whether it’s in the Rocky Mountains, on the east or west coast, in the city, or in the country, is a personal, creative and innovative experience for me.
I remained a small architect firm so that I am the one that meets and listens to the client. I then incorporate their needs and desires into a project that becomes a visually unique home.
My clients and I walk the site several times in order to position the house in the best location. And then I start with a pencil, and a blank piece of paper becomes the canvas on to which the design begins to unfold. At the same time I encourage them to meet with and decide on a contractor so I can “value engineer” the process as I begin the architectural process.
